 *NZUKŐ ANINRI PAID  COURTESY VISIT TO THE ANINRI COUNCIL CHAIRMAN*  The leadership of the Nzukő Aninri', an association of people with the common interest of forestalling peace, tranquility, unison amongst people regardless of political party and socio-cultural cleavages,  yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Aninri Local government Area, Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah , today, at his council office, Ndeagbor. The president of the group, High Chief Barr. Sir Akpa .E.M.  HONOURED AT HOME: HON CHIEF AJAH BENNETH OGBONNA — SON OF THE SOIL The traditional ruler of Okpanku, HRH Igwe Reginald Ajah Chukwu (Mkpume Asaa 1 of Okpanku) and the kinsmen of the executive chairman of Aninri Local Government Area yesterday, April 10, 2022, paid a courtesy visit to their illustrious son, Hon. Chief Ajah Benneth Ogbonna, in his hometown, Okpu Okpanku. The Igwe of Okpanku, Igwe Reginald Ajah Chukwu who opened the floodgate of encomiums for Hon. Chief Ajah Benneth Ogbonna, stated that their son while a business man, empowered more youths in Okpanku than any other person from the community. His kinsmen and Council of Chiefs praised the council mayor  for recognizing no boundaries in his empowerment drive and assured him that Okpanku people are strongly with him. According to one of his kinsmen, "we will  support the man with the highest record of human capital development records in Okpanku and believe he would do same for Aninri as he did for Okpanku"....

 POLIO VACCINATION EXERCISE: PRIMARY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS APPLAUD HON. CHIEF BENNETH AJAH FOR HIS COMMITMENT TO BUILDING A BETTER HEALTH SECTOR The Executive Chairman of Aninri Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah, on the 10th of April, 2022, flagged-off polio immunization exercise across the 10 Council Wards in the LGA.  The flag-off exercise which took place at Ekoli Health Center, Okpanku, is organized by the Enugu State Primary Health Care Development Agency and Partners, and sponsored by the Council Area. During the flag- off which includes the representatives of the National Primary Health Care, Enugu Health Care, World Health Organization, Independent Monitors and Ward focal persons, Hon. AND ST PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH NENWE, HOLD SUCCESSFU L CATHEDRALTICUM  It was a joyful atmosphere on Friday, 1st April 2022 as the Aninri Local Government Area and St. Peter's Catholic Church, Nenwe, held their 2022 Cathedralticum at St. Peter's Catholic Cathedral. Some of the dignitaries in attendance were Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah, the Executive Chairman of Aninri Local Government; Hon. Victor Okoro, Aninri People's Democratic Party Chairman; Hon. Chukwunonye Okereke, SSA on Transportation; Hon. Amos Oshi; Bishop John Okoye, the Catholic Bishop of Awgu Diocese; the 12 Catholic priests across Aninri L.G.A; and some reverend sisters.  Aninri Local Government Executive Chairman Meets With Community Presidents-General The Presidents-General (PGs) of all the communities in Aninri Local Government Area, have held a crucial meeting with the Executive Chairman of the Local Government today, the 1st day of April, 2022.  During the well attended meeting, the PGs condemned, in strong terms, the attack at the country home of the Executive Chairman a day before his election. The Community leaders also commended the Executive Chairman for the good works he has been doing so far. The leader of the PGs stated that the meeting provided them with an opportunity to discuss important and peculiar issues affecting the communities across Aninri L.G.A. Paramount among the discussions at the meeting was the necessity to mobilize their people and fund the upcoming population census exercise to be carried out by officials of the Nigerian Population Commission (NPC).
