*NZUKŐ ANINRI PAID COURTESY VISIT TO THE ANINRI COUNCIL CHAIRMAN*
The leadership of the Nzukő Aninri', an association of people with the common interest of forestalling peace, tranquility, unison amongst people regardless of political party and socio-cultural cleavages, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Aninri Local government Area, Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah , today, at his council office, Ndeagbor.
The president of the group, High Chief Barr. Sir Akpa .E.M. Ede and his Exco member extrapolated vividly on the rationale behind the visit.
"Before now, the group has no doubt since inception impacted positively on the generality of the Aninri community as it was the first to start Radio program as a way of promoting peace and bringing Aninri to the notice of Enugu people; maiden IRIJI NDI ANINRI and results of the program made history as the first local government to achieve this feat and the amiable Governor of Enugu State and many other dignitaries were all very pleased with unannounced achievements of the association.
In another vein, Barr. Ede and his exco members sought for the support and cooperation with Aninri local government chairman for the sustainability of the Radio program and annual "IRIJI NDI ANINRI .
At that juncture, suggestions on how to tackle security challenges were also raised.
Furthermore, the group condemned the attack on the Executive Chairman's residential building at the eve of the local government's election and also the event of last Saturday at the party meeting...
In response, the Executive Chairman of Aninri Local government, Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah, lauded the concept and aim of the Nzuko Aninri' in restoring sanity in Aninri communities, promoting their language through radio program and a thorough re-orientation of our youths. He however expressed optimum supports in all ramifications, to ensure that Aninri Local government is sanitized using every positive means possible to achieve social and economic change and stability.
